Honeydew and Olive Oil Smoothie


Serves 1-2

  • 1 large honeydew, cut in half
  • 1 large banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1 handful of fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey
  • Optional: ½ avocado


  • ½ cup granola
  • 2 sprigs of fresh mint
  • ½ peach, sliced
  • ¼ cup blackberries
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil


Prep your honeydew. With a large spoon, remove the seeds. In one half of the honeydew, use a paring knife to slice around the rim of the honeydew and remove the flesh. Use a spoon to scrape the fruit out evenly around the rim to form a bowl. Freeze the shell for at least three hours to use as your smoothie bowl. Cut the remaining honeydew flesh into small pieces and freeze as well. Reserve the other half for another use, or prep and freeze to be used for another smoothie.

When the honeydew flesh is frozen, add it to a food processor along with the frozen banana, fresh mint, Greek yogurt, and TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Blend until well combined. For a sweeter smoothie, add the honey. For a thicker smoothie, add the ½ avocado.

Pour the blended smoothie into the frozen honeydew shell and place in the freezer for an additional 15 minutes.

To serve, add the toppings, finish with a drizzle of TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil and enjoy!
