Spring ‘25: The Season of Hope & Promise

The Season of Hope & Promise

As a lifelong farming family, we are always thrilled to spot the signs of a new crop coming alive. When we see this, it tells us that our olive trees have finally been awakened from their long slumber by the warm spring breezes. For our family of dedicated growers, it is heartwarming to witness the arrival of precious baby olives during the “Fruit Set” stage. Knowing that the olive fruit has successfully started to develop creates hope for a promising growing season to come!

Unlike most crops, olive trees are alternate bearing, meaning they typically have a year of heavy fruit production followed by a year of lighter production. We manage this phenomenon with our farming practices and new plantings. And as with all good things in life, olive trees take time. It takes over three years to start producing fruit. This is yet another reason why the sight of baby olives brings us so much joy.

These future olives will eventually provide the delicious flavor of our TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. A new cycle in the life of the olive fruit, and our journey for making incredibly fresh, Fall harvested olive oil begins.

Until next season, Ciao!
