
Celebrating our 20th Fall Harvest
This is Paul Busalacchi, Corto's Field Director. A Cortopassi cousin, Paul has worked in our family business since his summer internship with Stanislaus Food Products while studying Agriculture Crop Science in college. Paul has been instrumental in creating and developing our Corto Grower Relations/Field Department.
Paul also grew up in a multi-generation farming family. So, he fondly remembers growing up surrounded by walnut and cherry orchards. His mother, Rita, is known in our community as an expert focaccia maker who uses Corto's TRULY® Extra Virgin Olive Oil as her secret ingredient!
As we celebrate our 20th Fall Harvest, we are truly grateful for all our incredible people, like Paul, with us on this journey. We wouldn't be where we are today without every single contribution.
The pursuit of excellence is not easy. With Fall's arrival, Paul and our team have begun harvesting olives at their peak of freshness, green with a hint of violet. Our harvest will run non-stop, 24/7 during this short window. Only the finest olives will be used to craft our award-winning, ultra-fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil!
