It’s spring, and the sight of the flowering olive trees is spectacular! We love this time of year when the trees are in full bloom and the delicate white flowers cover their branches. It's truly a beautiful season and a reminder of the unique role that olive oil plays in California agriculture.
Spring brings a gradual increase in temperature and a lengthening of daylight hours. This triggers the budding process in the olive tree, a return to life. We are grateful for the rain Mother Nature provided this past winter. It cleansed the soil and awakened our hearty olive trees from their rest.
These future olives will eventually provide the delicious flavor of our fresh TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Exceptional spring flowering is essential for our trees to produce high quality olive fruit. This spring, we are optimistic these delicate blossoms will set perfect fruit for our upcoming Fall Harvest!
