Yield – 40 cups of sauce
- 2 cans 7/11® Ground Tomatoes
- 1 can Full Red® Pizza Sauce
- ¼ cup TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a stainless steel bowl, season with salt and pepper to taste.
We made our thin, round New York dough with 51-49® Extra Virgin Olive Oil/Canola Blend, and dressed the pie with fresh-tasting sauce, premium quality mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of dried oregano before baking. And then, of course, after baking, we finished the pie with a drizzle of TRULY® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
